Itinerary Overview

  • Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. O/N Hotel
  • Day 02: Sightseeing Pashupatinath, Bodhanath, Bhaktapur, Changu & Nagarkot. O/N Nagarkot.
  • Day 03: Drive Nagarkot to Bandipur. O/N Bandipur ( optional : Rafting on the way )
  • Day 04: Drive Bandipur to Pokhara .O/ n Pokhara.
  • Day 05: Sarangkot Excursion and Pokhara city visit. O/N Pokhara.
  • Day 06: Drive Pokhara to Palpa & Visit around. O/n Palpa.
  • Day 07: Drive Palpa to Lumbini & Sightseeing in Lumbini. O/N Lumbini.
  • Day 08: Drive Lumbini to Chitwan. O/N Chitwan.
  • Day 09: Full day jungle Activities in Chitwan. O/N Chitwan.

Detail Itinerary

  • Day 01: - Welcome by our representative at the airport and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. Introduction to the program of your stay
  • Day 02:- Sightseeing Pashupatinath, Bodhanath, Bhaktapur, Changu & Nagarkot. O/N Nagarkot.
  • After breakfast, introduce with the Sightseeing Guide & driver. We set to the first day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Today you will see the following spots; the details are as described below:

    Bouddhanath
    Bouddhanath Stupa not only takes you to the journey to the ancient and world's biggest Stupa or to Buddhist Pilgrimage sites but also exposes you to the Tibetan communities within Nepal. Along with monasteries and devotees chanting religious hymns and playing prayer wheels you will also get to be close with the young boys and girls devoted to be Buddhist Monk which gives you a different perspective about life.

    Pashupatinath
    Pashupatinath, one of the holiest temple of Hindu deities Lord Shiva, has a golden roof and silver doors and is built in pagoda style. The temple is in the mid of green forest and the river Bagmati on whose bank Hindus are cremated is flowing on its side. People except Hindu are not allowed to enter the main courtyard of the temple but can be viewed from the eastern bank of the river. It is the centre of the Hindu pilgrimage and annually thousands of devotees flock into the temple during Shivaratri and Teej which occurs in the month of March and August respectively.

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square
    This durbar square will mesmerize you with the beauty of different temples and palaces. You will not only be able to see the spectacular view of 15th century architecture but also will be acquainted with the palaces and the courtyard of the ancient times. The golden gates, wooden palace studded with 55 windows, Batsala temple, Shiva temple and the National Art Gallery are the major attractions of this square. Moreover, you might not want to miss out the five storied Nyatapola Temple built in 17th century; adding on to its structure are the pair of two wrestlers, two elephants, two lions, two griffins and goddess's tigress & lioness in each storey making it the most tallest pagoda style temple exhibiting the immense creativity and craftsmanship of Nepali in those centuries.

    Changu Narayan
    The Changu Narayan, a Vishnu temple, is situated 18km northeast of Kathmandu city in a ridge. It is probably oldest temple in the entire Kathmandu valley because main temple was built arround 4th centuary AD. It was destroyed, however, several times by fires and earthquakes. The present Pagode was rebuilt in the year 1702. It belongs to old heritage site enlisted by UNESCO

    Nagarkot
    Nagarkot is situated 32 km northeast of Kathmandu in an altitude of 2164 m. It is one of the ideal places for viewing sunrise and sunset reflacting the changing colours on the Himalaya.
  • Day 03:- Drive Nagarkot to Bandipur. O/N Bandipur ( optional :- Rafting on the way )
  • Bandipur:
    Bandipur is a small newari settlement that lies approx. 140 km – 3-4 hrs drive, from Kathmandu between Kathmandu and Pokhara.It used to be a transit and commercial point between the southern Terai and Tibet. A good view of the western mountains can be enjoyed.
  • Day 04:- Drive Bandipur to Pokhara ( 70 KM – 2 hrs drive ).O/ n Pokhara.
  • After breakfast drive to Pokhara. A very scenic short drive lasts for about 2 hrs. After reaching to Pokhara you will visit Seti george, Davis fall & Bindubasini temple.

    Pokhara city:
    Known as the city of lakes and the starting point for trekking destination and the second largest city of Nepal is Pokhara. The Barahi temple in the middle of the big lake is the most fascinating landmark in Pokhara and the reflection of snow capped mountain in the lake is so serene and magnificent that you will remember it for your entire life. With the closer view of Annapurna range and Mt. Fish tail you will feel close to nature and mysticism. The other destinations in Pokhara that you will not want to miss out on are Devin's fall, Bindabasini Temple, Seti George, Buddhist monasteries and the hike to Peace Pagoda which brings you close to the nature and to the different spectrum of life style in this magnificent city.
  • Day 05:- Sarangkot Excursion and Boating at Fewa Lake. O/N Pokhara.
  • Early morning Drive to Sarangkot, to enjoy magnificient view of Sunrise with changing colors of Annapurna range by the ray of sunlight in the morning. Back to Hotel for Breakfast and stroll around the Lake side of Pokhara. In the afternoon enjoy Boat ride at Fewa lake.
  • Day 06:- Drive Pokhara to Tansen - Palpa & Visit around. O/n Palpa.
  • Tansen
    Tansen is a beautiful hill station situated about 130 km south of Pokhara at an altitude of 1450m. There are many similarities when we compare with old part of Kathmandu city. One can have nice view of himalaya from here, and the valley below Tansen. Drive leading to and from Tansen offers a view of changing landscape in the middle mountains, the Mahabharata range.
  • Day 07:- Drive Palpa to Lumbini & Sightseeing in Lumbini. O/N Lumbini.
  • Lumbini:
    Lumbini, the birth place of historical Buddha Sakyamuni, is located about 90km south of Tansen Palpa in the Terai belt. It is the site of pilgrimage for entire Buddhists from all over the world. There are a large nummer of monasteries, temples and Stupas within the Lumbini Garden as objects of religious importance.
  • Day 08:- Drive Lumbini to Chitwan. O/N Chitwan.
  • After breakfast we will be driving to Chitwan which takes 4-5 hours drive where Jungle Safari will be waiting for us.
  • Day 09:- Full day jungle Activities in Chitwan. O/N Chitwan.
  • You will be up close and personal with the nature where you will get the chance to walk in the jungle, ride an elephant, canoeing and visiting the village. This day will be full of Excitement where you will not only be close to the nature but also get to be acquainted with Tharu culture, indigenous people of western Nepal. If you will get to see the various types of animals like deer, rare one horned Rhinoceros and if you are lucky enough then you might get opportunity to see Royal Bengal Tigers along with a great variety of flora and fauna.
  • Day 10:- Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu. O/N kathamndu.
  • At dawn we will set for Jungle walk and bird watching which takes you to the journey of natural beauty and wildlife. After breakfast we will be driving to Kathmandu for 6 hours through the beautiful valleys, alleys, hills and river bank and have lunch on the way to Kathmandu.
  • Day 11:- Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city, Swoyambhunath & patan. O/N Kathamndu.
  • After breakfast, Proceed for Sightseeing, Today you will see the following spots; the details are as described below:

    Swyambhunath
    The Swyambhunath Stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and is situated at the mound. From this Stupa you can closely look at the settlement pattern in Kathmandu and have a close look at the Chaityas and Monasteries which circles the main stupa of Swyambhunath. This stupa also relates itself to the history of creation of Kathmandu Valley as how Manjushree, a Buddhist monk, saw a huge lotus emanating bright light at the centre of the lake. So he cut a deep gorge allowing the water to drain from the lake because he wanted to observe and worship the lotus where it is said that Swyambhunath is situated.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square
    Kathmandu Durbar Square welcomes you to the palaces, courtyards and temples built between 12th to 18th centuries where the then Kings used to live and the coronations of Shaha dynasty Kings used to take place. You might be amazed with the number of temples and architectural styles that you see in this courtyard. Moreover, you might also get the glimpse of Kumari, a living goddess, whose residence is within this courtyard.

    Kumari Temple
    Kumari, Virgin Goddess, must be chosen from a Newar community, inhabitants of Kathmandu, with no body marks & injuries who will be replaced by another Kumari after puberty.

    Kasthamandap
    Kasthamandap meaning "Wood-Covered Shelter" is a three storied pagoda style temple which enshrines a statue of Gorakhnath. It was built in the early sixteenth century by the wood of a single tree which is open for everyone from mid day to mid night but people are not allowed to take the picture in the temple. The capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, is derived from this temple thus there are many myths and stories associated with this temple which is shared every year in a ceremony with different varieties of food by Newar community.

    Patan City
    Patan Durbar Square is an enchanting melange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the centre of Patan's religious and social life. A museum full of bronze statues and religious monuments is one of the fascinating places to visit within Patan Durbar Square. A temple entirely built by stone in the 17th century in the name of Hindu deity Krishna, is one of the major attraction of Patan Durbar Square.

    Tibetan Refugee Camp
    The refugee camp set up by the International Red Cross & the Swiss Development Corporation in corporation in 1960 AD with the government of Nepal might be one of the areas where you would buy carpets and handicrafts created by them and to support the less fortunate people.
  • Day 12:- After breakfast, Departure transfer to Airport to connect flight to onward destination.
